Pampa Energy issued the Negotiable Obligation Class 22 in the local market for four years US$83,977,835 to advance the development of shale oil in its Rincón de Aranda field in Dead Cow and maintain its gas production.
According to the company in a statement sent to Energy Reportinvestors will receive a fixed rate of 5.75% maturing in 48 months. Furthermore, the placement was oversubscribed and orders were received for more than $93 million in total.
From the acquisition of the deposit Rincón de Aranda in Vaca MuertaPampa will invest US$1.2 billion to multiply its oil production tenfold and reach approximately 50,000 barrels per day in 2027.
On the other hand, the company reported that it continues to lead the gas production segment, thanks to its El Mangrullo and Sierra Chata fields.
Currently, it is the third producer in the Neuquén basin, with an average of 14.5 million m3/day.
