Minister Mariano Cúneo Libarona said that “we provide the Justice system with concrete tools to imprison criminals and have faster judicial processes.”
In this sense, he exemplified to his peers the work carried out in just ten months of management “we presented projects such as the lowering of the age of imputability, the Law of Trial in Absentee, the Trial by Juries, the Law of Orality among many others and we are working tirelessly on the implementation of the Federal Criminal Procedure Code.”
In turn, Cúneo Libarona called for working together and stressed the importance of listening to the needs of each jurisdiction: “What I want is for us all to participate, to give our opinions, to share their problems. “Each province has different realities and it is essential that we address them.” He added that “Argentina is one and deserves all our attention. We cannot focus only on the port or the large province; all regions must be heard.”
Regarding one of the projects worked on in the administration, promoted by the Undersecretary of Criminal Policy Alberto Nanzer, the minister argued: “We have a law being drafted with Dr. Nanzer for early confiscation.
