The Russians named the most desirable destinations for business trips

OZON TRAVEL specialists found out which cities Russians go on official business and which ones they would like to go to. The results of the study were made available to Izvestia on January 17.

Approximately every 10th respondent would like to go on a business trip to the Crimea, Baikal or Altai, another 7% dream of going to Sochi or Karelia. Every fifth Russian would prefer a trip to New Zealand. Antarctica became the undisputed leader of the survey, 64% of respondents would gladly go there.

Residents of Novosibirsk became leaders in the number of business trips: 22% of citizens travel for work more than once a month. In second place in this indicator are residents of Kazan (20%), followed by residents of Yekaterinburg (19%), residents of Chelyabinsk (17%), residents of Volgograd and Perm (14% each).

Most often, employees are sent on business trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg (27%). They are followed by Kazan (21%) and Yekaterinburg (18%). Slightly less often the respondents go to Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod (16%), as well as to Chelyabinsk (13%).

The Russians also told how they perceive business trips. For 23% of respondents, this is stress. At the same time, for the majority (51%) – the opportunity to see new cities and interesting places, combining business with pleasure. A third of the respondents (34%) note that they took their loved ones with them with pleasure to spend their free time together.

More than 1.5 thousand people participated in the survey.

Earlier, on January 11, it was reported that 73% of Russians in 2022 dream of going on a trip within the country. Among those surveyed, 41% want to see friends and relatives, 14% are planning a trip for work and 4% are leaving for study.
