Very soon, REN TV viewers will be able to learn about innovations from around the world and about the world of the future in the new Science and Technology program. On January 17, its author Ekaterina Avaliani spoke about the features of the TV channel project.
“We’ve got a mixture of different genres in a television program, and we are really very proud of this program. It turned out not just interesting, not just for different audiences, it really captures. This is the REN TV blockbuster style, a very bright blockbuster,” Avaliani said.
According to the author of the project, this is not a simple documentary program. It is filled with an abundance of special effects and shows. “Science and Technology” was filmed in different countries, and foreign companies interested in the project provided direct assistance in its implementation. Therefore, the pandemic did not become a problem for the launch of the show.
“In France, Germany, Turkey and the USA, they supported us and helped us in every possible way with filming. They filmed a lot for us. To show what the same Silicon Valley is currently working on, what aircraft are being developed near Paris, Berlin. We were greatly helped by our Chinese colleagues, who launched their trains on magnetic cushions especially for us. This program was filmed not only by Russian colleagues – we filmed this program all over the world, ”said Avaliani.
According to her, the project is valuable in that it is able to destroy the belief that “something fantastic will not be soon.” Avaliani assures that the “future” has arrived today.
“We will start using it in five years. It will be as common as mobile phones, smart vacuum cleaners in 10 years. It will be in absolutely every home in 20 years. But it is already there. To see it, to feel it, to show it to children so that they can understand what will happen when they grow up: what engineers will be like, what will need to be designed, what humanity will need. This is the main value, and we are extremely happy that we are presenting this program on REN TV, ”summed up Avaliani.
The host of the educational show will be Mikhail Borzenkov. The program will air every Saturday on REN TV. The premiere will take place on January 22 at exactly 12:00.
A day earlier, director-producer of “Science and Technology” Roman Iovitsa also spoke about the features of the new project of the TV channel. According to him, there have already been many such programs on television, but this one will be special. In it, in a simple and with a touch of humor, they will explain important and serious things.
On January 1, the REN TV channel celebrated its 25th anniversary. It began broadcasting on this day in 1997. Today it is a major federal channel that covers the news of the country and the world, as well as shows entertainment, information, sports and documentary content. The programs and employees of the TV channel have repeatedly become laureates of the national television award “TEFI” and other professional awards.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to the TV channel. The head of state drew attention to the successes of REN TV and stressed that it is based on “the tireless work and firm commitment to the principles of journalistic ethics of the friendly, close-knit team of the TV channel.” The head of government Mikhail Mishustin, as well as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev congratulated the channel on the anniversary.
