The robbery of the widow of musician Alexander Gradsky, actress Marina Kotashenko, could have been rigged, a source told Izvestia on Monday, January 17.
According to the source, Kotashenko wrote a statement five hours after the robbery.
It is noted that the woman is confused in the testimony. In addition, as the security guard of the cottage settlement, in which Gradsky’s widow lives, said, he did not see anyone in the car except Kotashenko.
Several suspicious moments in the case of the robbery of Gradsky’s widow were previously discovered by lawyer Sergei Zhorin. He analyzed the reports in the media and drew attention to the fact that for almost seven hours the widow had not been prevented from turning to law enforcement agencies, since many crimes were revealed in hot pursuit, but she did not do this.
Zhorin also believes that the behavior of the attackers was improvident and strange. He is confident that this crime “will be solved very quickly.”
On Monday, a video appeared showing Kotashenko’s car being seized. The footage that Izvestia has at its disposal shows how the victim’s car, along with the intruders inside, moves towards her house after a fake accident.
The robbery occurred on Sunday at the 255th km of the Central Ring Road. An unidentified man driving a Volkswagen Jetta caused the accident by forcing the woman to stop and get out of the car. After that, three armed men got into the car with Kotashenko, who under threats forced her to return to the cottage settlement in the Naro-Fominsk district. In the house, according to the actress, unknown people stole 100 million rubles, then forced her to take them to Aprelevka. There, the robbers got into a white Mercedes and fled.
On the fact of the robbery, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”.
Marina Kotashenko is the widow of the singer and composer Alexander Gradsky. The couple has been living together since 2003. A month before his death, the musician officially formalized the relationship with the actress and wrote a will for her.
The artist was buried on December 1 at the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow.
