In the midst of the union conflict with the aviation unions, the Government announced that it Pablo Biro of the directory of Argentine Airlines (AA). The announcement was made on presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni this Wednesday through his social network account X (ex Twitter).

It is not new that the libertarian administration sought to move Biró from his position at Aerolíneas Argentinas. Previously, in September, the pilot had been denounced by the Ministry of National Securityaccused of having committed an illegal act under the crime of extortion threats, for his statements after the Government announced that it was going to declare air transport as essential: “This is going to get much worse“, the unionist had assured.

Now, the state company issued a statement in which they explained: “At the request of the main shareholder of Aerolíneas Argentinas, the national State, the members of the shareholder assembly They voted in favor of the expulsion of Pablo Biró of the company’s Board of Directors for having repeatedly acted in unfair manner and against the interests of the company it represents”.

“This year alone, Biró participated in and promoted 13 forceful measures against the airline, many of them hidden behind alleged ‘informative assemblies‘which actually were covert strikes“, they added.

The harsh statement accuses Biró – and the unions – of having adapted the force measures to affect the “greatest number of flights possible.” In this way, between delays and cancellations, AA accuses that “They harmed more than 100 thousand passengers“.

In the framework of this conflict, the President of the Nation, Javier MileiI sign a decree that declares the company “subject to privatization“: At the same time, the company is promoting national tickets with discounts and without date restrictions, a sign that it seeks to increase its cash flow in a complex context.

In this sense, Brey analyzed the current conflict between unions and the Government and stated: “in Argentina we have a president who since he took office said that came to destroy the State from within. Therefore, the government today is carrying out a strategy that is to suffocate state companies and create conflicts“.

On the other hand, the union member also denounced the situation of the workers of Aerolíneas Argentinas and Intercargo: “Salaries practically frozen and we are 80% below salaries of what inflation was in all this time in which this government took office”.

Brey blamed the libertarian administration for having generated “a conflict of great intensity” to expose “the social leaders” and thus “turn them against society.”

“We know that when they attack the leaders like this it is because they come for the rights of the workers. They come for these state companies, that is why all the unions started a united struggle,” he stated.

Finally, the head of Aeronavegantes stated: “They are limiting our right to strikethey are cutting off the possibility of having free joint ventures, freely negotiating the salaries of our workers and, furthermore, They are persecuting union leaders“.
