HBO presented the official trailer of the original drama series Dune: The Prophecy during the series’ panel at New York Comic Con, also revealing that the first episode will premiere on Sunday, November 17 at 10:00 p.m. on HBO and will be available on Max. Co-produced with Legendary Television, the season will consist of six episodes and a new episode will premiere every Sunday until the season is complete.

As part of the vast universe of Dunecreated by acclaimed author Frank Herbert and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: The Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humanity and establish the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. The series is co-produced by HBO and Legendary Television, with Legendary also producing the film franchise that has released two critically acclaimed installments, the first of which garnered six Academy Awards.
