This was reported through social networks by vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean of the World Bank, Felipe Jaramillo, who highlighted in a post on his X account (ex Twitter) that the meeting with Caputo had been “very positive” and stated that “the World Bank is ready to accompany Argentina with more than US$2 billion in loans ” for the areas of social protection and education and to support the poorest in their access to transportation and energy.


Now, The approval of these credits by the World Bank board of directors is missing.but the entity’s commitment is an important announcement for the Government given that one of the main objectives of this mission to the US is to obtain new financing.
