On a day like today, in 2010, Former President of the Nation Néstor Kirchner passed away of cardiorespiratory arrest in El Calafate, Santa Cruz, at age 60. In February and September of that same year he had to undergo two angioplasties. He was laid to rest at the Casa Rosada, and his remains were buried in his native province, Santa Cruz.
