In Dagestan, a fight broke out between two policemen who had machine guns in their hands. The footage obtained by Izvestia on January 19 shows how two employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, gesturing, are discussing something, at some point a fight begins between the men.
The video camera recorded one of the policemen pushing his partner. After the man slipped and fell, the second law enforcement officer began to swing his machine gun and tried to hit his colleague who was on the pavement.
Seeing what happened, other law enforcement officers came to the aid of the injured employee. They managed to separate the fighting.
Both men involved in the fight were fired from service, a source told Izvestia.
The incident is under investigation, the source said. The department will also check the actions of the immediate leadership of the police officers who committed the offense.
Earlier, on December 30, a criminal case was opened in Ivanovo against three 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old teenager who beat police officers on duty.
On December 28, the police arrived at the scene of the incident, where teenagers were trying to steal a battery from a car.
The inspectors began to pursue the minors, but they began to show aggression towards the law enforcement officers, and later “successfully inflicted several blows to them on various parts of the body.”
Later, all minors were detained.
