The airline “Aeroflot” commented on the scandal involving the ballerina Anastasia Volochkova on board the aircraft. As the press service of the air carrier said on January 19, Volochkova drank alcohol and refused to wear a medical mask.
“During the operation of flight SU325 Male-Moscow on January 18, the airline’s crew recorded a violation of the rules of conduct on board by passenger Anastasia Volochkova. The passenger refused to use personal protective equipment, consumed a strong alcoholic drink carried on board in hand luggage, behaved destructively and interfered with the rest of the surrounding passengers, ”the Aeroflot press service said.
The airline added that in response to requests from flight attendants about the need to comply with the rules, the artist cursed and refused to comply with the requirements of the crew, in particular to wear a mask. Violations were recorded in the prescribed manner, including with the help of photos and videos.
The ballerina was given verbal and written warnings.
On January 18, Volochkova was returning from the Maldives to Moscow. According to passengers, the scandal lasted an hour and failed to influence the ballerina. After the flight arrived at Sheremetyevo, the police escorted the ballerina and her companion to the police station.
On the same day, a source for Izvestia said that during the flight, the crew seized a bottle of strong alcoholic drink from the artist. The interlocutor also noted that the ballerina tore off the mask from the flight attendant, and called the crew themselves servants. After that, the captain of the aircraft came out to her and had a conversation, during which the artist behaved more decently.
In relation to the ballerina, protocols were drawn up under Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Petty hooliganism”) and Art. 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Failure to comply with the rules of conduct in an emergency or the threat of its occurrence”). Responsibility under these articles involves arrest for up to 15 days, as well as a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles.
In an interview with Izvestia, Anastasia Volochkova said that she intended to sue the crew member who, in her words, provoked the conflict.
