Representatives of the management of enterprises of the military-industrial and construction complexes on Thursday, January 20, will report to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on the implementation of the state defense order in 2021. “On January 20, 2022, a single day of acceptance of military products will be held at the Russian Ministry of Defense under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu,” the message says.
Representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense will also talk about the rearmament of the troops and the solution of the housing issue of servicemen.
“The Minister of Defense of Russia will be informed about the supply of new and modernized types of weapons and military equipment to military units and formations of the Ground Forces, the Navy, the Aerospace Forces, the Strategic Missile Forces and the Airborne Forces,” the department added.
A single day of acceptance of military products has been held at the Russian Ministry of Defense since 2014.
Earlier, on December 31, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced that it was increasing the production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, and also that the corporation’s enterprises had fulfilled their obligations under the state defense order.
