SK opened a case after a candid photo shoot against the backdrop of a mosque in Moscow

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of insulting the feelings of believers after a photo session of a girl in a semi-nude form against the backdrop of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. This was reported on January 20 by the press service of the SU SK in Moscow.

“… a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion, expressing clear disrespect for society and committed in order to offend the religious feelings of believers”),” the report says.

According to investigators, a group of people publicly committed actions “expressing clear disrespect for others, in order to offend the religious feelings of believers.”

Investigators have identified and located the suspect. In the near future, the figurant will be taken to the department of the department for the necessary investigative actions.

In addition, the interrogation of other persons who took part in the filming is planned. Their actions will be given a legal assessment. The law enforcement authorities have also started an investigation.

The incident became known earlier that day. The girl in underwear and a fur coat was photographed at the mosque. Footage from the filming location sparked outrage among social media users. There were suggestions on the Internet that the shooting was arranged by a targetologist who blogs on Instagram.

Later, blogger Maria Katanova, who photographed a girl in underwear near a Moscow mosque, apologized on Instagram.

Katanova noted that she did not pursue the goal of hurting the feelings of believers. She claims that, on the contrary, she wanted to prevent a wave of hype among bloggers who are filmed in an inappropriate way against the backdrop of religious buildings.

The blogger claims that while driving past the mosque, she saw a girl and decided to take a picture of her in order to create a guide on how not to promote your account on social networks.
