On January 20, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) Aleksey Odinets noted on REN TV the importance of the new Science and Technology program for scientists.
According to him, in the program, scientists will be able to talk about their developments, which is very valuable.
“Scientists are given the opportunity to talk about their work, and they are very interesting. It’s nice that someone needs them, they don’t disappear in laboratories, they don’t wait for their “sharks” from abroad to buy them out and take them away. With us it becomes popular, interesting, people need it, ”said Odinets.
The academician also stressed that “it’s good that there are programs that raise issues of science and technology.” Odinets called such truthful programs “real art”, which is so rare in the world of fakes.
Earlier that day, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) Yuri Nagernyak said that the Science and Technology program will help young people expand their knowledge of the exact sciences, learn more about innovations introduced by Russian specialists.
On January 19, the authors of the program said that the new program is a weekly hour-long lecture on physics in the hot action genre. For a complete immersion in the topic, host Mikhail Borzenkov will put on spectacular and even dangerous experiments.
The creators of the project are faced with an ambitious task – to try to visualize science.
Alexander Chernenko, an employee of the Institute of Solid State Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, noted that the program will provide viewers with information about how science is becoming an engine of change in a rapidly changing world.
On the air of the Science and Technology show, host Mikhail Borzenkov will answer questions that were previously asked only by science fiction writers and historians. The program can be watched on Saturdays at 12:00.
The premiere will take place on January 22.
