The car hit a child in the Tagansky district of Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on Thursday, January 20.
The incident occurred in the 3rd Krutitsky Lane.
“According to preliminary information, a woman with a child was crossing the roadway in an unspecified place, the driver hit the child, who was taken to a medical facility for examination,” a representative of the department told the Moscow city news agency.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
At the same time, the press service of the capital’s prosecutor’s office clarified that the woman was crossing the road with three children, and the victim was a child born in 2017. The Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Administrative District (CAO) controls the establishment of all circumstances and the adoption of procedural decisions on the fact of the incident.
Earlier, on January 17, a car driver in Moscow knocked down a woman with a child at a pedestrian crossing.
The accident occurred at an unregulated pedestrian crossing on University Avenue. A Subaru driver hit a woman and her 11-year-old daughter. Both victims were hospitalized. The woman has a suspected spinal fracture. The child was diagnosed with multiple fractures and rupture of the extreme lobe of the liver.
