The student planned to use homemade pyrotechnics near Chelyabinsk

In the Chelyabinsk region, a teenager planned to use homemade pyrotechnics on school grounds. This was announced on Friday, January 21, by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Chelyabinsk Region.

The relevant information was received by the internal affairs bodies of the Sosnovsky district from the administration of the district school. Police officers immediately rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, the police found that the teenager threw a pyrotechnic product into a snowdrift.

“None of the students were hurt. A preventive conversation was held with the teenager and his parents. The student himself is characterized positively, he is not registered with the internal affairs bodies, ”the statement says.

Currently, as clarified in the department, the issue of bringing parents to administrative responsibility for failure to fulfill their obligations for the maintenance and upbringing of a minor under Part 1 of Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

By now, the student has been detained, a TASS source said. On this fact, a check is being carried out, as well as teachers of the educational institution are being interviewed.

Earlier, on December 27, 2021, it was reported that a ninth-grader in Yekaterinburg lost his arm while making firecrackers, and in Volgograd, a 12-year-old schoolboy lost two fingers of his left hand during a firecracker explosion.
