Near Veliky Novgorod, a man stabbed his friend, wrapped the body in a carpet and threw it into the street. Currently, the offender has been detained, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region reported on January 21.
The published footage shows how two people carry out a body without signs of life from the entrance.
According to investigators, the crime was committed on January 20 in the town of Borovichi, Novgorod Region. A corpse wrapped in a carpet was found on one of the streets of the city. The body showed clear signs of a violent death.
As employees of the Investigative Committee managed to find out, the victim drank alcohol in one of the apartments with a man born in 1992. A quarrel broke out between friends, as a result, the attacker grabbed a knife and inflicted several blows on his friend. The victim died on the spot. The killer wrapped the body in a carpet and asked a friend to help carry the corpse out into the street.
The suspect was soon arrested. A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”). The question of his arrest is being decided. The actions of a friend who helped carry out the body were regarded as harboring a particularly serious crime.
Earlier, on January 18, in Kamchatka, a verdict was passed on an underage girl who attacked her nine-year-old brother with a knife last spring because of his noisy behavior. The defendant was charged under paragraph.n. “b, h” part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”). According to the investigation, in May 2021, a 16-year-old girl took a knife in the kitchen and stabbed the child nine times in the area of vital organs because the boy was noisy and did not respond to her remarks. After that, the schoolgirl called an ambulance, thanks to the timely arrival of which the boy was saved.
