Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Paramount has again postponed the premiere of Mission Impossible 7, now it is scheduled for July 14, 2023. On Friday, January 21, according to IndieWire.
As the publication notes, the release of the seventh part of the franchise with Tom Cruise in the title role was previously scheduled for September 30, 2022.
The film company noted that the release of the action movie was postponed for the fifth time due to the situation with the coronavirus.
Accordingly, due to another transfer, viewers will see an eighth part of the picture a year later. Mission: Impossible 8 is expected to release no earlier than June 28, 2024.
In February 2020, it was reported that Paramount had suspended filming of Mission: Impossible 7 in Venice due to the coronavirus outbreak in Italy. This decision was made to protect the film crew and protect the actors. Director Christopher McQuarrie planned to shoot in the city for three weeks, and then the crew was going to go to other countries.
In 2021, the film crew again faced difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic. Part of the team was forced to go through quarantine in Britain (most of the project was filmed there).
