“The girl has a positive trend. We can say that the doctors pulled her out of the other world. Her condition is stabilizing,” Usova told RIA Novosti.

The press secretary of the ministry noted that the child would subsequently need a long rehabilitation.
Earlier, on December 28, it was reported that the condition of the girl found in the cold had stabilized. Then Usova noted that leading doctors in Moscow and St. Petersburg discussed tactics and possible strategies for treating the child.
On December 22, two children without outerwear were found in a rural ravine near Saratov. An ambulance was called to the scene, the doctors who arrived declared the death of a boy born in 2013. A girl born in 2016 was hospitalized.
On December 24, the head physician of the regional children’s clinical hospital, Mikhail Svinarev, said that the girl had frostbite on 25% of her body surface, and she could be at risk of amputation of her fingers. The child spent about five hours in the cold in an unconscious state, the doctor said.
On the same day, the children’s mother was arrested. She is charged with the murder of her son and the attempted murder of her daughter. The woman is suspected of committing crimes under par. “c, d” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“The murder of a minor child, committed with special cruelty”) and part 3 of Art. 30 – paragraphs. “a, c, d” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted murder of two minors, committed with special cruelty”).
The investigation found that on the morning of December 22, the 43-year-old mother became angry with the children, blocked the air supply first to her son, then to her daughter with a scarf. She held the children until they stopped breathing. After that, the woman took them out into the street, left them in a ravine and disappeared in an unknown direction.
