Two firefighters died while extinguishing a house in the Irkutsk region

While extinguishing a fire in a house in the city of Bodaibo, Irkutsk region, two firefighters died. This was reported on January 22 in the press service of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Irkutsk region.

“Tonight in the city of Bodaibo there was a fire in a 12-apartment two-story wooden house. None of the residents were injured, ”the department’s Instagram page says.

To extinguish the fire, employees of the units of the gas and smoke protection service entered the house. One link did not return.

“All forces were thrown into the search, later the firefighters were found dead inside,” the department added.

The head of the guard of the internal service, Igor Rusnakov, born in 1994, and the fireman of the same unit, Vadim Naydenov, born in 1997, died. Colleagues expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

On January 1, five people died in a fire in a private house in the Irkutsk region. This happened in the village of Khomutovo. Investigators opened a criminal case on causing death by negligence. As it became known earlier, the firefighters were called by an eyewitness.
