Law enforcement officers detained one of the suspects in the robbery of the widow of Russian singer Alexander Gradsky, actress Marina Kotashenko. According to Izvestia, we are talking about a 25-year-old citizen of Tajikistan.
It is known that there were three attackers in total. One of them managed to hide in Kazakhstan, the identity of the second has not yet been established. It is known about the detainee that he worked in the market.
In addition, according to preliminary data, the version that Kotashenko herself could have staged the attack was not confirmed. Presumably, after the girl took the attackers to the village of Aprelevka, the attackers returned 5 million rubles to her.
The robbery of Kotashenko became known on January 16. The attackers simulated an accident on the Central Ring Road (CKAD) near the village of Zhedochi on the M-3 “Ukraine” highway. When Kotashenko got out of the car, three men got into her car and forced her to return home. There, the attackers took 100 million rubles from the woman.
After that, they left together with Gradsky’s widow. At the same time, the attackers demanded that they be taken to Aprelevka, and then they transferred to a white Mercedes and headed towards Moscow.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the robbery under Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”.
On January 17, a source from Izvestia said that someone close to the victim could have known that a large sum of money was kept in Kotashenko’s house. At the same time, on the same day, Russian producer Iosif Prigozhin reported that Gradsky’s widow was robbed by someone from the actress’s inner circle.
At the same time, lawyer Sergei Zhorin discovered several suspicious moments in the case of the robbery of Gradsky’s widow. He analyzed the reports in the media and drew attention to the fact that for almost seven hours the widow had not been prevented from turning to law enforcement agencies, since many crimes were revealed in hot pursuit, but she did not do this. Zhorin also considered that the behavior of the attackers was improvident and strange.
Actress Marina Kotashenko is the widow of singer and composer Alexander Gradsky, with whom he married a month before his death. The couple lived together since 2003, and after suffering COVID-19 in the fall of 2021, Gradsky wrote a will and formalized a relationship with the actress.
However, according to the musician’s cousin Natalya Gradskaya, the marriage was invalid, and the widow’s robbery was set up. According to her, Kotashenko came up with a story with a robbery at the direction of some “mentors”.
