In one of the apartments in the village of Obukhovo, Moscow Region, on Saturday, January 22, they found the bodies of a man and a woman with signs of poisoning. According to Izvestia, there was also a nine-year-old child in the room, he was sent to intensive care.
The preliminary cause of death of a man and a woman, the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) called food poisoning. The house where the family lived was supplied with gas. However, according to Mosoblgaz, no damage or leakage of gas equipment was recorded.
The child is currently in critical condition.
The reasons and circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Investigators are working at the scene.
Earlier, on January 16, girls born in 2014 and 2015 were taken to the Saratov hospital with signs of poisoning. According to the Ministry of Health, we are talking about the impact of an unknown substance. It was noted that the children ate sweets that one of the girls brought from kindergarten.
