A 10-year-old boy, who was hit several times on the head with a blunt object in the courtyard of a house in Penza, has already undergone surgery, and is now in a regular ward. This was reported on January 22 by RIA Novosti, citing a source in emergency services.
“The boy was operated on on January 20, today he was transferred from intensive care to a general ward,” the source said.
Earlier on Saturday, it became known that on January 20, an unknown young man attacked a 10-year-old boy in the courtyard of a house in Penza and disappeared. Investigators are currently trying to identify the attacker.
On the fact of beating, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted murder of a minor”).
The regional department of the UK, on the basis of the available video recording, transmitted the signs of a young man who attacked a child. Presumably, a young man who looks 16-25 years old has a height of 170-180 cm, he is of a thin build. During the attack, he was wearing a knitted hat with a pom-pom, a dark jacket below the waist, a scarf, a sweatshirt with a hood, presumably green, dark pants, dark high boots. Behind him was a black backpack, the report says.
The prosecutor’s office of the region took control of the investigation of the criminal case.
