On November 22, National University Free Day is commemorated. in honor of 1949, when Juan Domingo Perón established by decree No. 29337 the elimination of all university fees.

In this way, the children of workers and social classes that previously could not afford to access these studies were allowed to enter the University. That is why it is common to find in National Universities, students from all over the country and even from the rest of the Latin American countries, because in addition to being free, Argentine higher education is among the most prestigious in the world.

The reason for National Free University Day
