The Government confirmed an increase in pensions for December: how much will the minimum be?

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) had already advanced the 2.7% increase, aligned with the latest inflation record.

As had been anticipated by the National Social Security Administration (ANSES), the government of Javier Milei confirmed through the Official Gazette an increase in 2.7% for retirements, pensions in December 2024.

In this way, the minimum asset will reach $259,598.76not including the extraordinary bonus that will be granted that month, the amount of which has not yet been officially defined, but is estimated at $70,000frozen since the beginning of the year.

This setting aligns with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) October, according to data recently published by INDEC.

In this way, the minimum retirement will go from $252,798.48 to $259,598.76and the maximum, of $1,701,094.47 to $1,746,854. It should be noted that these values ​​are raw, and after discounting the contribution that corresponds to PAMI, the net amounts will be $251,811 and $1,649,831respectively. In addition, and in the case of those who earn the minimum, the government plans to pay a bonus of $70,000.

In addition to the increase, in December the half bonusan additional sum that represents half of the best monthly income of the second semester. This payment will be essential to complement the beneficiaries’ income in the last month of the year.
