The pilot Julian Santero aboard Ford today became champion ofl Road Tourism in an intense race that was held at the “Roberto Mouras” racetrack in La Plata.

At the start of the race, Agustín Canapino (Chevrolet) led followed by Otto Fritzler (Dodge) and Santero (Ford), but in the fifth lap Mariano Werner (Ford) left the track, after which other cars got lost and the Pace Car had to enter.
Werner had had an unusual problem minutes before leaving the pits, he noticed that the engine of his Ford Mustang was failing and he notified his team, so he had to enter the pits and the mechanics took out of the engine papers that he had thrown at him. the Chevrolet public that was meters from the track.

On lap 14 Canapino was left behind and Ciantini gained the position, while Santero continued second and Lambiris third, followed by Todino and Ricardo Risatti (Chevrolet).
Finally, Ciantini took the win, Santero was second, Lambiris third, Todino fourth and Risatti fifth, while Marcos Landa (Torino) was in sixth place, Marcos Quijada (Chevrolet) was seventh, and Valentín Aguirre was eighth. The opening of the 2025 Road Tourism championship will take place on February 15 and 16 at the Viedma racetrack (Río Negro).
