The libertarian administration added new requirements for access to free remedies, which will affect a large majority of retirees who were currently included in the benefit. From now on, it will only cover affiliates of PAMI who have net income less than 1.5 minimum pension benefits and no prepayment.

“It seems that the caste were the retirees. They were denied a bonus, the update of their salaries and now they are taking away their medications. For the people, nothing. For his friends, everything,” Pedro wrote on his X account, after learning of the modifications implemented by the libertarian government.

Changes in the requirements to access free PAMI medications
In addition to the aforementioned requirements, if the member lives with someone who has a Single Certificate of Disability (CUD)the total monthly income of the household must be less than 3 minimum pension benefits.
To access the benefit, they must not have more than one property, a vehicle less than 10 years old, or be the owner of luxury goods. Nor may they be the owner of corporate assets that indicate full economic capacity.
In the event that you do not meet any of the requirements but the out-of-pocket cost of the medications indicated for your treatment is equal to or greater than 15% of your incomethe member may request 100% coverage of medications for social reasons through an exception mechanism.
