Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma Igor Bryntsalov recalled the benefits due to students.

There are five universities and 80 professional education centers in the Moscow region. As Bryntsalov noted, student support is the most profitable long-term investment in the development of the region, the 360 ​​TV channel notes on Tuesday, January 25.

So, in all educational institutions there is an academic scholarship from the state. In the first year, all state employees receive it, and in subsequent years it is paid taking into account academic performance. Excellence students are rewarded at an increased rate. In addition, the more achievements, the more chances to get promotion.

The President’s grant is provided for students who have become participants in the final stages of the Olympiads. To get it, you need to enter the budget within two years after the competition. The amount of payments under the grant is 20,000 rubles per month. In this case, the student should not have triples and debts. In addition, after graduation, you need to work in Russia for three years, and you will need to find a place of employment in six months, otherwise the money will have to be returned.

From the second year of college, a student is entitled to a government scholarship, and in universities – from the third year. In graduate school, they are appointed from the second year of study. The amount of payments depends on the direction of education.

There is an additional scholarship for gifted students in the Moscow region. a competition for it is held among excellent students and students with disabilities every semester. Its size is 4-5 thousand rubles, respectively.

The state social scholarship is also provided for students. Regardless of academic performance, it is received by orphans and victims of radiation disasters, the disabled, war veterans and those whose total income per family member is below the subsistence level.

In addition, social benefits are provided – one-time financial assistance for treatment, the funeral of a loved one or at the birth of a child. The payment is assigned to orphans under 18 years old and students from 18 to 23 years old who lost their parents during their studies.

Working students can count on three types of benefits: study leave, reduced working hours and travel expenses to the place of study.

In addition, each student can ride commuter trains during their studies with a 50% discount. To do this, you must provide a student card or a certificate from the dean’s office. In addition, in the Moscow region there are leisure benefits, tax benefits and a large number of additional ones.

Earlier, on January 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated students on Tatyana’s Day. He also congratulated schoolchildren who are just going to enter, and those who have long graduated from universities.
