Lula da Silva and Gustavo Petro paid tribute to Pepe Mujica
Petro expressed on several occasions his admiration for the former Uruguayan president, emblem of the Latin American left. The first leftist in power in Colombia formed the M-19 guerrilla in his youth and identifies with Mujica, who was part of the National Liberation Movement-Tupamaros (MLN-T).
