In April of this year, Justice sentenced Martínez to one year in prison for sexual abuse after the complaint made last April by Florencia Marco, who worked as the team’s press officer.

The prosecutor investigating the alleged cover-up of Martínez’s sexual abuse of Marco urgently requested in September the investigations of Jorge Bermúdez, Raúl Cascini and Marcelo Delgado, members of the “Xeneize” soccer council, in relation to the case.

The new prosecutor in charge, Marcelo Roma, who took charge of the process after the displacement of Marcelo Martínez Burgo, also required the prosecution of the three involved and the elevation of the case to trial.

According to reports, the evidence gathered would be compelling, and those involved could face sentences of up to three years in prison if found guilty.

Bermúdez and Delgado are also under scrutiny for alleged false testimony. Both declared at the time that they had no knowledge of the events that occurred between Jorge Martínez and Florencia Marco, stating that they found out about the case through the media.

Prosecutor Marcelo Martínez Burgo, who is no longer in charge of the case, decided in July to charge Jorge “El Patrón” Bermúdez, Raúl Cascini and Marcelo “El Chelo” Delgado with cover-up in the simple sexual abuse case that resulted in the conviction. to one year in prison for the former technical director of the Boca women’s team.

This accusation could lead to sentences of up to three years in prison for those involved.
