An American was detained in Voronezh for a drunken brawl on a train

US citizen Robert Gilman was detained in Voronezh after a brawl. According to Izvestia, the incident occurred on January 17 on the Sukhum-Moscow train.

Passengers complained about the inappropriate behavior of the man. As a result, the transport police had to remove the 27-year-old man from the train.

The foreigner was drunk, he was taken to the police station, where he kicked the policeman several times.

The American was detained, later the court arrested him for two months. As it turned out, the man’s tourist visa had expired. He refused to testify.

As Gazeta.Ru clarifies with reference to the investigation department of the ICR for the Voronezh region, a criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Use of violence against a representative of power in connection with the performance of his official duties”).

On January 15, it was reported that a 64-year-old American was arrested in Moscow on charges of sexual abuse of his children. According to Izvestia’s source, the complaint against the man was written by his Russian ex-wife.

As the applicant noted, the American, while in Houston, sexually harassed his two sons, born in 2010 and 2014. On the territory of Russia, a man is deprived of parental rights, and in the United States he has the status of a guardian.
