“Networks that transform.” Under this motto, the Empujar foundation celebrated the end of the year at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the UBA in which 1,724 young people were trained in the programs offered by the NGO, the most important in Argentina in terms of training and labor inclusion.
As part of this mission, in 2024 Push managed to connect these young people with 530 formal jobs, distributed in more than 460 companies that, working as a network, offer vacancies, provide work, donate funds and participate in voluntary activities.
“We are together to celebrate the transformative power of networks that, with empathy and commitment, open paths, create opportunities and change destinies”. With those words the Foundation began the event – hosted by journalist Gabriel Schultz – before an auditorium filled with young people, families, volunteers and representatives of allied companies, civil society organizations and government agencies.
In this sense, the president of Push, Fernando Shalomassured that they have been sowing hope for more than a decade. “We continue to reap progress, building worthy presents, achieving a better future for boys and girls, for their families, for their communities and, of course, for the country,” he said. And he added: “In a world that is not easy, and much less for young people in vulnerable situations who urgently need decent employment, we help them to give the best of themselves and grow as people.”
Likewise, Shalom stressed that employment shows them that resignation does not lead to anything good and that progress is possible.
Also, he celebrated the role of Push and SME entrepreneurs. “We felt that something had to be done and that reality does not exist to accept it as it is, but to improve it. And we knew that we were the ones to take on that challenge, stopping being spectators of the problem and becoming part of the solution,” held.

After these words, the ceremony opened a space to recognize the 19 “headquarters companies” that, in different towns and provinces of the country, open their doors to convert them into learning and training spaces, making it possible for thousands of young people in Argentina to have that first opportunity to grow, learn and change your destiny.
Within this group of young people, different graduates of the foundation gave their testimony to tell about their current work present, in many cases with jobs in companies of national and international renown.
Undoubtedly, one of the most emotional moments of the ceremony was when 300 girls and boys trained by Push in 2024 took the stage to receive their diploma. They did so on behalf of 1,724 young people from Mendoza, San Juan, Rosario, Neuquén, Buenos Aires and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Additionally, students who completed the courses with “perfect attendance” and who stood out “for their camaraderie, for their values of solidarity, respect, and empathy with the group” were recognized.
Then, different companies that make up the Push network were distinguished, which stood out in key areas of action such as sustainability, volunteering and providing employment. In this case, the mentions were given by young graduates of the Emprendiendo program, who also exhibited their projects to the attendees.
Subsequently, companies and people who made volunteering a powerful tool for transformation received a special mention. These volunteers – 1,650 people were counted in 2024 alone – “go beyond their daily responsibilities and put their time, talent and heart at the service of others,” they explained.

Later, there was a block to recognize national, regional and international organizations that, through their strategic support, contributed to generating in 2024 this multiplicity of programs and projects that make up Push and allowed it to continue growing institutionally.
And finally, the time has come to celebrate hundreds of Argentine companies that have chosen to continue betting on young people, on their dreams and on their future, since, behind each one that manages to enter the world of work, there is a company that decided to bet , believe and accompany.
There he took the floor, and by way of closing the event, the Executive Director of Push, Germán Lojk. “Those of us who have been in this wonderful foundation for a few years know that it is more than the sum of its parts,” he said. And he continued: “It is a collective energy, a vision in motion, made of shared dreams, efforts and purposes.”
For Lojk, Push is heir to a story started by a group of businessmen who, with a purpose and great desire, marked a path that persists to this day. “This legacy indicates that, if this present is significant, the future we dream of is even more promising; “There is no better way to achieve it than to continue pushing together to achieve the impossible,” he said.
