Two freight trains collided in Nizhny Tagil. This was announced on Thursday, January 27, by the press service of the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 26 on the territory of the Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Works during shunting operations, the Zvezda TV channel clarifies.
As a result of the collision, four cars were damaged. In addition, the locomotive derailed and did not overturn. The tracks were also not damaged, no harm was done to the environment.
