Investigators, as part of the pre-investigation check, are looking for a boy born in 2015 from the city of Toropets, Tver Region, who left on January 27 in an unknown direction, the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) reported.
“On this day at five o’clock in the evening, a minor resident of the city of Toropets Maxim K., born in 2015, on his way home, went to a grocery store located along Pushkin Street, after which, after leaving the store, he left in an unknown direction. To date, the whereabouts of the child has not been established, ”the department said.
The missing child was reported to the investigation department on the evening of January 27. A pre-investigation check began, during which an investigative team went to the boy’s place of residence, his relatives were interviewed, and large-scale search activities were organized.
Earlier, a two-year-old girl disappeared in the Novgorod region. The message about her disappearance was received by law enforcement officers on January 25. According to the mother, at the time of the disappearance of her daughter, she was washing clothes in the bathhouse, and the girl was sleeping in the house. The front door was not locked, however, according to the woman, the child could not go outside on his own in the cold.
Later, the court arrested the mother of the missing girl and her roommate. The suspects will remain in custody for two months.
