The subway line B of the City of Buenos Aires will expand your operating hours throughout the month of January, maintaining the service until 2 a.m. on Fridays. This measure responds to the growing demand for transportation in the area of ​​the Corrientes Avenueknown for its wide range of theaters and musical events that last until late at night.

In this way, the last train bound for JM de Rosas will leave at one in the morning, while the last service towards Alem It will leave at 1.30.

A set of strategic stations to continue providing the service in this extended hoursconsidering both the volume of passengers and the proximity to cultural and entertainment centers.

In this way, the stations that will continue to be open are: JM de Rosas, Federico Lacroze, Dorrego, Medrano, Pueyrredón, Callao, Carlos Pellegrini and Leandro N. Alem.

This initiative, which is being implemented in its second phase after a first month of success, has as its main objective reduce dependence on private transportationwhile promoting local culture, offering a more efficient transportation option and sustainable in one of the busiest areas of the city.

How much will subway travel cost starting in March?

The price of the subway ticket will also experience a 10% increase in March, which will bring the cost of the ticket to $832. The ticket of premeterfor its part, will be adjusted to $291.20. The increase has been proposed within the framework of the public hearing scheduled for February 6.

The adjustment in rates will not affect the benefits that exist for frequent userswho will be able to continue accessing discounts for the number of trips made monthly: 20%, 30% or 40% for those who exceed 20, 30 or 40 trips, respectively.

Passengers must have their SUBE Card registered in their name to access common rates. Those without a card on file will pay higher rates.

  • Subway with unregistered SUBE Card: $1322.88 from March 2025.
  • Premeter with unregistered SUBE Card: $463.01 from March 2025.
