In detail, the event occurred on Monday morning, in the Plaza San Martín located on Avenida José de San Martín 701-799in the city of Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz. Witnesses who were at the scene indicated that the child had accidentally touched a metal light pole, which transmitted electricity to him.

According to Opinión Austral, the child’s mother said that she had taken her youngest daughter to the bathroom area and, when she returned, she found her son “lying on the floor, with involuntary spasms and one leg bent“. For their part, witnesses at the scene described that the child had accidentally touched a metal light pole, which transmitted electricity to him and, immediately, police personnel Municipal Urban Guard requested an ambulance, which arrived at the scene to transfer him to the local hospital.

After the mother filed the corresponding complaint, agents from the First Police Division inspected the site, but did not detect any visible anomalies on the indicated post.
