The head of government of the City of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, announced a series of measures that aim to provide fiscal relief for Buenos Aires taxpayers. Step by step of the process to request the ABL exemption in CABA if I am retired in 2025

In detail, the procedure allows you to request the total exemption from the Real Estate Agent/ABL – 100% of the ownership of the property – to Buenos Aires retirees and pensioners who meet the following conditions as established in the current Tax Code and Tariff Law. This way

    • Being owners, condominium owners, usufructuaries or beneficiaries of the right to use a single piece of real estate intended for one’s own home.
    • Effectively occupy the property.
    • Not be domain owners or condominium owners of another or other urban or rural properties within the national territory.
    • Receive an asset equal to or less than 4 (four) minimum retirements as of December 2024, that is, approximately $1,063,000.
    • The valuation must not exceed the amount established by the Tariff Law for the year from which the exemption is requested. In this case the value is set with the homogeneous tax valuation (VFH): up to $40,000,000.
