On the afternoon of January 29, in Yekaterinburg, two armed men robbed a branch of the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development (UBRD) on Cosmonauts Avenue. This is reported by the portal E1.RU.

The UBRD representative noted that the amount of stolen funds is being specified, and the savings of the bank’s clients were not affected.
According to eyewitnesses, the robbers threatened the bank employee with a gun, robbed him and fled the scene. According to the portal, in addition to law enforcement officers, a cynological service is working on the spot.
This is not the first case of a bank robbery in Yekaterinburg. In November last year, a similar incident occurred on the same street. According to preliminary data, the attackers stole several million rubles. As explained in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, bank employees could not get into the building in the morning. Craftsmen were called to the scene and opened the doors. A mess was found inside the office premises.
