Lost tiger cub found in Moscow region

On the morning of January 29, a young tiger was seen walking along Shirokaya Street in the village of Ermolino, Dmitrovsky District, Moscow Region. The police patrol arrived at the scene after the appeal of a local resident, but the beast had already fled.

According to Izvestia, hunting inspectors and law enforcement officers arrived at the place to search for the animal.

As Dubna.ru journalists later reported, the four-month-old tiger cub was caught by 12:30 Moscow time. It is noted that the owner was a young man living in the village of Krasnaya Gorka.

On January 18, in Primorye, eyewitnesses filmed a meeting with a large tiger. He was noticed in the Terney region on a snowy road. The animals were observed for about 40 minutes. Specialists of the Amur Tiger Center said that the place where the inhabitants of Primorye met a tiger is “one of the most tiger-like”, but such a long meeting is very rare.
