“It all started with a strange situation. We had the door knocked down at about four o’clock. At that moment, the owner Alexei was just leaving the apartment. I, Timur, my friend and classmate, and his girlfriend Irina were in the apartment. And Alexey – he was leaving, he said: look, the door was broken. We did not pay attention, because it had been broken before. After about 30 minutes, a friend Igor came, Timur opened the door for him, sat in the kitchen. After 10 minutes, I sharply smelled, as if burnt wires, ”Adel said.
The lights went out after a few seconds, he said. After that, the young people went to the door.
“Timur and Irina followed us. One of us opened the door, and I distinctly heard such a whistle, like an electric current. There, a sharp flame began, smoke. We didn’t close the door. Igor managed to run across. We didn’t think the fire would spread so quickly. I ran to the room, I wanted to take valuables. At that moment, the entire room was filled with black smoke. I ran further from the door, about a minute passed, it was impossible to run out. Then I ended up with Timur in the central room, Irina in the far room. We stood near the windows, breathed and prayed,” recalls Adele.
After that, his friend Timur decided to climb over the window. At some point, he broke and hung on one arm. Adele grabbed his hand and lifted him to the windowsill, and then went down himself. Then the guys began to knock with their feet on the window of a neighbor on the floor below – Konstantin Kremlin.
“He accepted us. Immediately remembered about Irina. We have the same layout – I ran to the back room, opened the window and Irina was caught and let down. She was afraid, she is a girl, she even screamed. For a long time she could not hang, we immediately grabbed her by the legs. Timur told her at that moment that there would be no other chance, ”Adel said.
The student added that this was their only chance for salvation.
“There was no fear of falling. I thought that Timur was already falling, and that’s it, I’m left alone to hang. I thought it was better to jump than to stay there. We sat on the windowsill and prayed. Miracle, we were lucky that we were opened. It was lucky that the man was at home on Saturday, ”concluded Adele.
The fire broke out in the south of the capital on Saturday, January 29. According to Izvestia’s source, the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the wiring.
Neighbor Konstantin Kremlin also spoke about the details of the rescue of young people. According to him, the rescued girl was poisoned by carbon monoxide and lost consciousness. In addition, her friends also needed medical help. He noted that all three were taken to the hospital.
