Roszdravnadzor will conduct an investigation into the death of a woman who died in hospital on January 30 after a liposuction procedure at a private clinic in the capital.
According to REN TV, the deceased was 28 years old. Employees of the medical center where she underwent cosmetic surgery tried to resuscitate her, but the patient was clinically dead. After she was admitted to the hospital, the doctors also failed to save her.
In July last year, a 23-year-old Muscovite was hospitalized after the same procedure. The girl was hospitalized after she had fat deposits removed from her abdomen in a clinic on Sadovnicheskaya Street. The next day after liposuction, the patient felt weak and called the doctor. Specialists diagnosed her with septic shock.
