In the midst of the flirtation between the Government and PRO leaders, Luis Caputo received Ignacio Torres

In full seduction operation on the part of Freedom Advances (LLA) to attract leaders of the PRO With a view to the legislative elections, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputoreceived this Friday at the Treasury Palace the governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torresone of the three yellow bosses.

The meeting took place just one day after the Buenos Aires mayors Diego Valenzuela (Tres de Febrero) and Ramiro Egüen (May 25) officially announced their jump to the “forces of heaven” from the space he founded Mauricio Macri.

In this regard, Minister Caputo indicated that “this is a great achievement for both the Nation and Chubut” and stressed that “Thus we end all cross-claims, both economic and judicial.”

In mid-December, after the deadline to register, the Government reported that only six provinces did not agree to the debt exchange plan, while the other 18 districts did.

The participating jurisdictions are: Entre Ríos, Chaco, La Pampa, Tucumán, Catamarca, Chubut, Córdoba, Corrientes, Jujuy, Mendoza, Misiones, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.

They were left out, however, the province of Buenos Aires, Formosa, Santa Fe La Rioja, the City of Buenos Aires, Santiago del Estero. The majority of these districts are governed by opposition leaders, who belong to UP, with the exception of Buenos Aires. Jorge Macrifrom the PRO, and from Santa Fe Maximiliano Pullarofrom the UCR.

PRO Alliance – Freedom Advances?

In the political dimension, meanwhile, Ignacio Torres He is one of the three governors of the PRO, along with the Entre Ríos Rogelio Frigerio and the porteño Jorge Macri. Like Frigerio, the Patagonian does not take a dim view of the possibility of entering into an electoral alliance with LLA this year.

The situation is different for Mayor Macri, in whose small payment the libertarians move as opponents of his administration. They even voted against the Budget and the new Urban Planning Code, two central projects for Uspallata.

Such are the prevailing differences that the head of Government is now seeking support from Peronism to suspend the PASO and not among the forces of heaven. These differences make an electoral convergence difficult this year in CABA.

Although at the top of the party Mauricio Macri has the last word on possible agreements, the truth is that the provincial leaders show autonomy and play their own cards according to the situation of their districts.
