Alimentar Card 2025: who can access this benefit
This financial aid is a social benefit that seeks to ensure that many families from vulnerable sectors can access the basic food basket. Those who can receive this extra benefit are:
- People who receive the Universal Child Allowance: mothers, fathers or guardians with children up to 17 years inclusive. There is no limit on the number of children and the amount varies depending on the number of minor children.
- Embraced from 3 months onwards they receive the Pregnancy Allowance for Social Protection.
- People with children with disabilities that they collect the Universal Child Allowance: there is no age limit for the child with disabilities.
- Holders of a Non-Contributory Pension for mother of 7 children.
Initially, the Alimentar Card was intended for children up to 6 years old; In 2021 the limit was raised to 14 years and, now, extends up to 17 years.

The Feed Card did not receive raises since last September and this is not yet planned to happen, since it does not have monthly updates. Therefore, the beneficiaries will receive an amount identical to that of December this January.
