In Nizhny Novgorod, the police are looking for a man who opened fire on icicles. A video of the incident was posted on social media on February 1.
The footage shows how a car appears in the courtyard of one of the houses, and a man with a weapon gets out of it. The man aims and shoots in the direction of a residential building, and a utility worker is watching what is happening nearby.
The footage that the indignant residents managed to make shows that the shooter leaned on the car for convenience, the 360 TV channel notes.
Social media users suggested that the man was involved in the fight against icicles on the roofs.
According to Gazeta.Ru in the press service of the city administration, the incident occurred on Robespierre Street.
“The administration of Nizhny Novgorod considers the chosen method of eliminating icicles from city houses unacceptable. According to the building management company of the Leninsky district, the circumstances and involvement of the contractor’s employees in this incident are currently being investigated. In the event that the involvement of the contractor is confirmed, an internal investigation will be carried out, ”the press service explained.
Law enforcement officers establish the identity and conduct a search for the violator of the order, the website aif.ru notes.
Earlier, on February 1, in Balashikha near Moscow, a woman and two small children were injured as a result of falling ice. The SC opened a criminal case into the incident.
