In the Moscow Region, from February 1, for the convenience of patients with signs of SARS, a scheduled appointment with the doctor on duty was opened in the evening. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
According to the head of the department, Svetlana Strigunkova, the peak load falls on the morning hours from 08:00 to 12:00. In this regard, for the convenience of residents of the Moscow region with symptoms of SARS, the possibility of making an appointment with a specialist from 16:00 to 20:00 is open, writes RIAMO.
“This will allow residents to plan their visit in advance, while residents still have the opportunity to apply without an appointment,” the minister specified.
Scheduled appointments with specialist doctors in the evening will help improve the availability of medical care for residents, as well as distribute the burden on doctors. If signs of a respiratory disease appear, patients can come to a medical facility on their own, without an appointment, daily from 8:00 to 20:00 – seven days a week, the website kp.ru notes.
You can make an appointment on the public services portal or by calling the single number 122, the 360 TV channel reports. A medical specialist will consult and take a PCR test for COVID-19.
Earlier, on February 1, it was reported that the average epidemic thresholds for the incidence of influenza and SARS were exceeded in 71 regions. According to Rospotrebnadzor, an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) is recorded among all age groups.
In Russia, more than 69.1 million people were vaccinated against influenza, which is 47.3% of the country’s population.
On January 18, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia, sick leave would be issued in absentia, and social support measures would be extended without applications. Golikova noted that these technologies have already been used before and they have shown their effectiveness.
A large-scale vaccination campaign continues in Russia. Citizens can get vaccinated for free. Six vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in the country: Sputnik V, Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona, KoviVac, EpiVacCorona-N, and the vaccine for adolescents Sputnik M.
