South Korean zombie apocalypse series We’re All Dead has topped the global streaming service Netflix.
We’re All Dead tells the story of a group of students trapped in their school due to a zombie outbreak. They are forced to unite in order to survive,” the Netflix blurb reads.
The show is based on the Now At Our School webcomic.
According to FlixPatrol, the action-packed series took first place in more than 25 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, France and Japan the day after its January 28 release.
At the same time, already in early February, their number increased to 46. In Russia, the series rose to the second position.
The lead role in “We’re All Dead” is played by actress Lee Yu-mi, who rose to fame after the release of the series “The Squid Game”.
Earlier, on October 13, it was reported that the series “The Squid Game” became the most watched series in the history of Netflix. The South Korean series topped the Netflix top list in 90 countries and was included in the list of the 18 most requested shows in the US.
On October 6, film critic, Izvestia columnist Sergei Sychev noted that the success of the series is quite natural: South Korean cinema has been gaining popularity lately, and Netflix has made its promotion its strategic goal.
