Two injured in derailment of freight cars in Moscow

In the south-east of Moscow, six freight cars derailed, injuring two people. This was reported by TASS on February 3, citing a source in emergency services.

It is specified that the incident occurred in the area of ​​​​house number 16 on Ilovayskaya Street, not far from the MCD-2 Pererva station.

“Six wagons of a freight train derailed. As a result, two people were injured, ”the agency quotes the words of the interlocutor.

The causes of the incident are being established. The condition of the victims was not specified.

The day before, on February 2, it was reported that a freight car derailed on the railway in the Kemerovo region on the Chulzhan-Belsu section. There were no injuries as a result of the incident, no harm was done to the environment, the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Railway (KrasZhD) said.

It was noted that in connection with the incident, the schedule of commuter trains was changed. So, the route of the electric train Mezhdurechensk-Biskamzha was reduced to Karay station. The Luzhba-Mezhdurechensk train was cancelled.
