The ceiling collapsed on the head of an elderly woman in one of the multi-storey residential buildings in the city of Dolgoprudny near Moscow.
Residents of the apartment continue to fight to no avail to repair the damage. So far, no one has eliminated the leak from the ceiling.
Anzhelika, a resident of the house, said in an interview with REN TV that employees of the management company came to inspect the collapsed ceiling, but did not take any measures.
“On Saturday, I wrote to them that our ceiling is leaking and we urgently need help. No one reacted in any way, and on Sunday we had a collapse on an elderly man who was in this room. The ceiling collapsed. I went to the Criminal Code, and only then did they think that we needed help, ”shared a resident of Dolgoprudny.
Angelica added that water continues to drip from the ceiling, another leak has formed.
“It turns out that we pay utility bills for a four-room apartment, which has become a three-room apartment – one of the rooms is now emergency,” she said.
According to the interlocutor of the TV channel, before the collapse, for several years she applied to the office of the Criminal Code, but her requests were ignored there.
In response to the complaint, the city administration asked to wait a week. In this case, the ceiling can collapse completely at any moment.
Earlier, on January 26, it was reported that in the city of Obluchie (Jewish Autonomous Region) a utility accident left people without cold and hot water supply. According to the prosecutor’s office, the auxiliary equipment – the network pump – failed. This led to the cessation of water supply to apartment buildings and social facilities.
