Some 200 families are betting on the side of National Route 14 in access to the dryer of the firm Pérez Hermanos, where trucks loaded with grass intended to follow their way over the protesters. The Missions Police agents and the National Gendarmerie arrived at the place.
The protest day also occurred in the town of Andresito, Eldorado and Aristóbulo del Valle.
The origin was an assembly in San Pedro, where it was resolved not to deliver the green leaf to the dryers as a protest measure to demand a fair price for its production. “It is a poor fight against poor,” said San Pedro producer, Omar Tabaczuk, and said that at the moment he is being paid below the cost grid established by the INYM.
“We are in a difficult situation, as a producer, such as Tarephero, service provider,” said the producer.
