Police officers in the Moscow region detained a man in Balashikha suspected of fraud in the amount of more than 500 thousand rubles. This was announced on Thursday, February 3, by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
So, a 32-year-old resident of Balashikha turned to law enforcement officers and reported that more than 500 thousand rubles had been stolen from her bank account. During the investigation, the police arrested a suspect in the crime. It turned out to be a previously convicted 30-year-old local resident, writes the Moscow City News Agency.
It was previously established that the attacker took the victim’s mobile phone for repair and, having gained access to the mobile bank, took possession of her money. A criminal case has been initiated under the article on fraud. The man was taken into custody, the 360 TV channel notes.
On January 28, the head of the Zecurion analytical center, Vladimir Ulyanov, in an interview with Izvestia, explained how to stop multiple fraudulent charges from the card and protect yourself when shopping online.
